What’s the difference between Computer Science and Software Engineering?

Ok so im currently taking college courses and I am under the impression that Computer Science and Computer Software Engineering is pretty much the same thing as a major. I want to decide on the two so if any one can tell me if there is a real difference and what that difference is I would appreciate it.
Please ignore the answers that say Computer Science is hardware stuff. It’s not.
For your purposes as somebody starting through a computer science program at school, they are close enough to being the same. Computer Science and Software Engineering are closely related. Almost the same thing. Most experienced programmers today use the title "software engineer" rather than programmer.
Why is that? Anybody can pick up a compiler, learn some basic coding from a book, and call themseves a "programmer." I can’t tell you how many people I know who wrap HTML tags around some text and call themselves programmers, or how many self-taught "programmers" I’ve turned down for jobs because they don’t understand things like polymorphism or coupling. The title "programmer" doesn’t mean a whole lot, so those of us who spend a lot of time studying how to do it right–how to create efficient, easily maintained, and provably correct code–need something else to call ourselves.

Yes, I can honestly say from experience that the method DOES work however the workload in order to achieve great success is hugely underplayed in the sales material. If you’re an experienced internet marketer and are familiar with Wordpress, YouTube, and Clickbank, then you could probably do it quite fast (around 1-3 hours/blog).
The process of using good programming practices to create highly structured or highly object-oriented code is "software engineering." It’s all about creating libraries that are easy to re-use, not too interdependent on eachother, and easily scalable. It’s about writing code where you have the smallest likelyhood possible for bugs, and where making changes later won’t involve rewriting too much of what you did. It goes way beyond programming, and it’s what you will be studying in computer Science (once you get past the first year or so, at least).
Those of us who use good software principles to produce software are software engineers. Those of us who study these principles just for the sake of studying them and improving them are computer scientists. Both fall under the "computer science" degree at collegest and universities.

How can I get experience in Computer Hardware without prior experience?

You see, I want to go into something that relates to Computer Hardware like fixing and building them. Once I finish college I want to go into the Computer Engineering field. For now though I want to know if there is any chance for me to get a job in fixing or building them as a first year college student.
In high school I did a work experience program (for school credit) at a local computer repair shop. It was done for no pay of course, but I learned quite a bit.

I’d recommend going to a local computer shop (not the shain stores like Staples or Future Shop, but a Ma and Pop shop) and and ask if you can do some job shadowing once a week or so on a volunteer basis. I imagine someone will want the assistance.
I learned a lot over just 6 months at the place I worked at, and I only put in about 1 hr twice a week.

be Artistic and Original. Follow the rules of composition. Like cropping your photos, eliminating distractions, balance the photo, and get a good and creative angle ( go on the ground if it makes a good shot). I’m in Photo 2 and that is how my teacher usually grades us.

What are some popular retail stores that require a paper application?
I have applied to over 20 stores online and I do not seem to get anywhere. I’m unemployed straight of college and just want a simple Retail job. I figure that maybe the trick to getting this job is to apply in person that way I can get the manager’s attention. What banks can finance a single family residence under 600 square feet?
Hello. I am attempting to buy a foreclosure in San Diego that is a single family residence with a total square footage of 528. I was told it is difficult for banks to Finance anything under 600 square feet. The house is in good shape but its tiny. I need financing asap since the bank already accepted my offer. Thanks.
Are you working with a Realtor? Ask them to suggest someone.
If not, Find a Mortgage Broker/Banker who can shop the market for you and find an investor who will finance you.
If you cant find anyone, I hope you made the offer contingent on you finding financing, if not, you are out of your earnest money when you back out.

The obvious–most seeds need moisture (rain) and warmth to germinate. They will not germinate if Environmental conditions are dry or cold.
Many plants require a certain amount of sunlight; their growth will slow during periods of extended cloud cover. Increased light results in increased growth. For the same reason, plants in areas covered with ash from erupting volcanoes will die, although in that instance they also smother. Growth will also slow or the plants will die in periods of drought.
What kind of business license do I need for an internet business or ebay business?
I am planning a business. I will start out with baskets for new babies and if all goes well I will make the extra investment for wedding baskets, and then so on and forth. By baskets I mean gift baskets. I have researched local business license, but I am not sure if a local Business is the right way to go, so I am thinking internet or Ebay. What kind of license do you need for these types of businesses.
The requirements vary according to your state. Call the business license office for your county and just ask them if you need a business license to operate an internet store. I live in Georgia, and in my county, you do.
