Should I buy a car which is categorized as a finance repossession?
Should I buy a car which is categorized as a finance repossession?
I checked this preowned car, and AA said there is an existing finance agreement against the car, which is a hire purchase.
I told the dealer, and he said this is a finance repossession. He said the Finance company has cleared the car.
Obviously I will speak directly to the finance company. But do you think it is advisable to buy this type of car? It is a Nissan Almera, so quality-speaking, it should be good.
If there is an existing finance on the car, the dealer should not be selling it. The finance should have been cleared up by the repo and the car should have a clean title now.

*** Does the Google Sniper method work? Yes, I can honestly say from experience that the method DOES work however the workload in order to achieve great success is hugely underplayed in the sales material. If you’re an experienced internet marketer and are familiar with Wordpress, YouTube, and Clickbank, then you could probably do it quite fast (around 1-3 hours/blog).
There’s nothing wrong with buying a repo. It’s like any other used car. Some uninformed people might advise against it because they think such cars have been abused by the owners, knowing that they are going to lose the car. This is rarely true. The repo usually comes on quickly, in a matter of a couple of months, so there is little time to abuse the car. It wouldn’t be smart anyway, because the car would sell for less at auction, and they would owe a larger balance on their loan after the repo.
How Much Environmental Damage is Done by Turning on a Light Bulb?
Posted by admin in Environmental on May 31, 2010
Recently I asked the question under the math section as to how much would it cost to leave a regular light bulb on all day. Well the general consensus is just a few cents. (not that we would ever leave it on all day) My mother in law is constantly turning of all the lights in our house, leaving us basically in the dark in the evenings not only because she is trying to save money but (being a long time sierra club member and Environmentalist) her main concern is energy conservation. Where do we draw the line with energy conservation? I mean it seams so over the top to be sitting in the dark with only one light on most evenings. How much environmental damage is a light doing?
The "damage" from a light bulb or two is minimal. A 60 watt bulb left on for 8 hours at night will use 0.48 Kw/hr (the cost depends on your local utility rates).
But it raises another issue–that is more important: how "green" do we need to be. For what it’s worth, here’s my view. The key is to use common sense. I don’t think people should make themselves unconfortable by forcing themselves into a lifestyle they really don’t like. And I think the things we all can do WITHOUT going to extremes are the really important things. Here’s a couple of examples:
>If you switch to the compact flourescent bulbs, you’re going to cut energy use by 75-80% even if you use lighting as much as you always did. And trying to push the issue at that point might save another 2-3%–but is it worth it? I’d say no. And–besides the help to the environment, this acutally puts money in people’s pockets in lower utility bills–so there’s a personal benefit as well.

> Much the same for appliances. I’m in the middle of switching over to energy efficient appliances. I have a budget, like most people–so I’m waiting until its time to replace items anyway–then I can afford a little extra for an energy efficient model (and again, energy savings will eventually pay for that relatively small difference).
>Some things help the environmet that are just good sense anyway. For example, because I work at home, the computer needs to be on pretty much all the time. But–I have the "hibernate" feature activated. That cuts the energy use by a sizeable fraction–and saves wear and tear on the system besides.
My point is that using common sense–and a little research–will show most people ways they can cut energy use by a considerable amount–and save money in the bargain, or at least with little or no cost. And without having to inconvenience themselves or change their lifestyle in any drastic fashion. And–that’s where the really big savings in eergy are anyway.
So-get a compact flourescent bulb and leave the light on if you want to!
Can I deduct a business mortage payment or only the interest and why?
I need to know if I can deduct the mortage payment on a business. Our business mortage is a commercial loan and only the business is on it. Or, is only the interest on the business deductable. If so, would it be in our best interest for the business to rent from us this year?
The business can only deduct interest expense. If you own the property personally, and the loan is in your personal name (OK if business is a co-borrower), then the Business could deduct the entire payment as rent expense. However, you’d then have a separate schedule on your tax return for this commercial real estate. You’d show the rent payment as income, and then deduct the interest expense there. If the business is an S-Corp then shouldn’t be much of a difference either way. . .

If you’re a business owner with commercial real estate, you really should have a CPA (or experienced tax accountant) prepare your taxes. . . .
Oh, you can’t deduct the entire loan payment, as principal paid is a repayment of money lent to you!
Is cooking with margarine the same as cooking with butter?
I don’t like using margarine, I like Cooking with butter instead. So if a recipe calls for margarine, could you use the same amount of butter, or use more or less of it?

Yes, the same amount, but butter burns easier.
What are some careers in the fashion industry that do not require you to be an artist/designer type?
I know that sounds confusing and stupid but…
I love clothes and fashion, even though I’m not artistic or the designer type. I just wanna be around the Fashion industry. I’m planning on majoring in business, or marketing in college, so what jobs in fashion could I get with either of those? I love fashion more than anything and I want to be around it
you can become a buyer for stores or work as a sales rep. as a buyer you get to choose clothing for stores- which can be a lot if hard but brings a lot of pressure. sales is just as pressured, and buyers get paid more.
How much more education would it take for a nurse to become a teacher?
I am stuck between the 2 careers so i am wondering i i get my RN degree and decide i want to be a teacher later how much more education do i need? bachelor of education? or do i have to complete an undergrad degree again then take the bachelor of education degree? i seen nurse educator degree but i think that’s for just working in universities and colleges that are training nurses right? or can you teach science to high school students with that as well?
The answer to your question depends on several factors. 1) The state in which you live as the rules for credentials vary by state 2) Do you have a BS or a BA in nursing or are you a nurse that does not require 4 years.
You might be able to just take a semester of Education classes and student teach if you have a 4 year degree. Another option would be to become a school nurse.
How do food addictions and allergies work?
I read that food allergies can become addictions because our bodies craves the food we are allergic to (some, not all obviously) and can lead to the addiction of that food. This is counter intuitive on so many levels lol So maybe I understood incorrectly.
Can someone explain the link between food allergy and addiction? Is this pseudoScience or real? How does it work?
Serious answers only.
I’m allergic to eggs, nuts, peanuts, and tree nuts and I’ve never heard of this. I’d say it isn’t true because once you eat a food your allergic to it makes you feel so uncomfortable and bad that you’d never want to feel that way again. For example once I ate once of those really big Laffy Taffy and who knew those have eggs in them and the little ones don’t. Anyway my throat swelled up and it was difficult to breathe. I don’t think I’d become addicted to something that makes me feel that awful.
How many travel days it take astronauts to travel from Earth to the moon?
How many Travel days it take astronauts to travel from Earth to the moon?
About 3 days between leaving an orbit around Earth and settling into an orbit around the moon.
After launch on Saturn V SA-504 on July 16, 1969 from pad 39A of Kennedy Space Center, Apollo 11 entered Earth orbit. After 1 1/2 Earth orbits, the S-IVB stage was re-ignited at 16:16:16 UT for a translunar injection burn of 5 minutes, 48 seconds putting the spacecraft on course for the moon. The CSM separated from the S-IVB stage containing the LM33 minutes later, turned around and docked with the LM at 16:56:03 UT. About an hour and 15 minutes later the S-IVB stage was injected into heliocentric orbit. During translunar coast a color TV transmission was made from Apollo 11 and on July 17 a 3-second mid-course correction burn of the main engine was performed. Lunar orbit insertion was achieved on July 19 at 17:21:50 UT by a retrograde firing of the main engine for 357.5 seconds while the spacecraft was behind the moon and out of contact with Earth. A later 17 second burn circularized the orbit. On July 20 Armstrong and Aldrin entered the LM for final checkout. At 18:11:53 the LM and CSM separated. After a visual inspection by Collins, the LM descent engine fired for 30 seconds at 19:08 UT, putting the craft into a descent orbit with a closest approach 14.5 km above the moon’s surface. At 20:05 the LM descent engine fired for 756.3 seconds and descent to the lunar surface began
Are sports important on your high school resume when applying to go to a college?
I am wondering because I am very athletic, however I am not sure if I want to participate in any sports.
I take on a lot of leadership skills, extracurricular activities, and I am practically valedictorian, but just how important are sports on your resume?
Colleges like it if you played Sports in high school because it shows that you are a team player and that you have school spirit.
It’s not necessarily better than other extracurriculars, but it does look good to colleges.
How did Science play a role during the Renaissance and why was science another means to disobey the church?
How did Science play a role during the Renaissance and why was Science another means to disobey the church? Why was it taking a risk to be a scientist during the Renaissance?
-Protestant Reformation-
i need help so that i can study for my final which is coming up in less than a week!!
-Scientific Revolution-***
For the Renaissance, the truth of nature can only be obtained through experience and observation guided by the use of reason … this went against the tenets of the Catholic church, who were no longer accepted by the Renaissance, which not ceased to be Christians, but do not accept anything that could not be proven through experience and observation (with the exception of faith in God, of course) …
-It was the Renaissance that Europe has abandoned the complicated Roman and began using the simple and practical figures brought out by the Arabs (so named after Arabic) … that greatly facilitated the calculations … men and women Renaissance realized that mathematics helped enough to understand and master the world …
the Renaissance, the science has known great progress:
- The Italian Cardano created in 1543 to negative numbers, ie less than zero …- 1, -2, -3, etc …
- The dutch Stevin showed that the fractions podeiam be written with decimal numbers, facilitating the calculation … that is, 0.25 is equal to 1 / 4 …
- Physics was the great great works of Copernicus and Galileo on the Geocentric model, which caused a serious confrontation with the Catholic Church, which almost leads Galileo to the fire of the Inquisition …
- The mechanical clock was invented in the fourteenth century … the thermometer in 1592 and the microscope in 1590 …
- In shipping, the Portuguese were pioneers … they perfected the astrolabe and the compass and created a small and agile caravel …
- The German Gutenberg invents the typographer in 1454, making the books much cheaper and facilitating the dissemination of knowledge …
